LC P-16 is a P-System connector for lightweight panels that combines the advantages of lightweight construction with the efficient and aesthetic Clamex connector. Due to its width, the LC P-16 is anchored in the surface layers and acts as an adapter into which a Clamex P-14 connector with lever is slid in. The LC P-16 thus enables extremely strong, detachable connections in lightweight construction without the time-consuming use of concealing timber edges or adhesives.

- For lightweight construction materials made of cardboard or plastic honeycomb, wood fibre shaft or hard foam (eg. XPS) ) with surface layers made of wood composites (eg. MDF, HDF, chipboard, HPL)
- For light chipboard with a weak middle layer with additional fastening using glue channels
- In interior fittings for large shelves or sideboards, mounted floating on a wall
- In furniture-making for wide shelves with a span of more than 1 m due to the high rigidity
- In trade fair construction or shopfitting to reduce transport weight, ideal for flat-pack furniture
